NOT SUCH A SHORT STORY OF DASEA PEOPLE

It all began with a fascination for the brand Patagonia. After our first encounter with their products, we instantly fell in love and knew we wanted to sell them. At that time, no one in Gdynia was offering their gear, so we decided to give it a shot. Most stores carrying Patagonia were located in southern Poland – just like the main distributor. After a visit to Kraków and seeing the full collection, we were convinced that these products would be just as appealing to people in the Tri-City area.

At first, we wanted to open a brand store, but after speaking with the distributor, we decided that a multibrand concept would be the best solution. Over time, Carhartt WIP joined our offering and quickly gained recognition thanks to its quality craftsmanship. Both brands were complemented by top-tier accessory manufacturers blending outdoor and lifestyle aesthetics.

Our passion and determination paid off quickly. We grew steadily, earning the trust of customers who appreciated our careful brand selection and attention to detail. From the very beginning, we focused on high-quality and durable products, choosing brands known for ethical manufacturing and environmental care. Eventually, we also introduced our own brand, UNDA, which over the years has crafted hundreds of Gulfstream™ jackets and supported the development of water sports.

Today, we are more than just a store – we are a space for connection and inspiration. We host workshops, meetups with travelers, and events that bring the local community together. And we never forget our roots. Every day, we operate with the same values that have guided us from the start: a passion for nature, respect for people, and a responsible approach to fashion.

We're from here

The founder’s story is rooted in years of training on the waters of the Gdańsk Bay. Starting with Optimist sailing, through windsurfing and kitesurfing, all the way to classic surfing. A passion for water sports was one of the reasons Dasea People was founded.

Inspired by travel

It wasn’t just the Baltic that shaped our spirit. A photo session from a surf trip to Cornwall still decorates the walls of our store.
